It seems that the beast that attacked light's hope is Caldoran's pet and the attack on Light's Hope was merely a ruse to draw our forces out and commit us to this attack. Caldoran and Beatrix sought to use us to create a distraction and remove a rival in Balnazzar, and then turn on us and remove us as a presence in the Plaguelands after they regained control. We don't have all of the answers and it's looking grim, but we will put these dogs down for this treachery.
