You may have seen some of the unusual crystal growths that dot this crater. I'm not a miner, but these growths don't seem to fit with the kinds of soil deposits all around here. I believe I caught sight of a damaged crystal not far from here while I was foraging. I wonder if it holds any secrets about the origins of these strange formations? If you happen to spot it, I would love to investigate a sample piece.
