I've prepared a transcription of Gimashi's notes on draenethyst. It appears the shards possess some degree of energy, but a pure sphere of the stuff is vastly more powerful. That seems to be what the Burning Blade was after. Many of Gimashi's notes allude to portals and demonic summoning rituals. Portals to where, or to summon which demons, I cannot say for sure. While my answers are not definitive, please take these notes back to the swamp with you. I hope you'll understand if I don't come along.
