Caldoran used a combination of holy magic, skilled craftsmanship, and ambition to "cleanse" the blade. The Ashbringer ultimately rejected Caldoran, but some of his methods may have some merit as a place to start. Light and darkness are the sum of what the Ashbringer is now and the lightforged weapons wielded by the crusaders in the Enclave may be of use to us.
